What we're building
Rooted Rebuild will support self-represented litigants across both family and civil matters: the procedural work a law office normally handles behind the scenes.
Continuing procedural navigation for family matters: understanding your stage, organizing documents for filing and service, preparing for disclosure, mediation, arbitration and court, and reading your orders.
Procedural support for self-represented civil litigants: understanding claims, defences and applications, organizing evidence, managing timelines and filing, and preparing for hearings.

One participant. One navigator. One continuing record.
Most services are one appointment with whoever is free that day, so you explain everything again, every time. Rooted Rebuild is being built around continuity: the same navigator keeps track of your file, so after an order, a filing or a hearing, you pick up where you left off. Your navigator won't decide what you should legally do. They help you understand where you are and what comes next.
Rooted Rebuild provides public legal education and procedural navigation. We are not a law firm and will not provide legal advice or representation unless a specific service is delivered by authorized legal professionals. Anything that requires applying the law to your specific facts belongs with a lawyer, and we will help you find one.
Who it's for
Open to anyone representing themselves in a family or civil matter, with focused outreach to women and newcomer women, who often face several barriers at once.
